My table will require a custom designed table pad; will it take a long time to receive it?
From the time you buy your table pads, you can expect delivery within 3 to 5 weeks. If needed sooner, we do have a rush service and can produce your pads as quickly as 2 business days.

I don’t think I can measure my table or make a good pattern and what if my pad does not fit correctly?
The percentage of those that do not fit is astonishingly low! But we're all human. We have sold literally hundreds of thousands of table pads by phone over the years If we make the error, we guarantee to correct it and remake your table pads at absolutely no additional cost. Keep in mind, table pads are custom made and upholstered, so we do allow ourselves a 3/16" tolerance in width, length, and shape when centered on your table. That's only 3/32" on each side. If you give us incorrect measurements on a table that requires no pattern, we can only go by the measurements you give us. We will still remake it at only a fraction of the original cost. If you give us an incorrect pattern, we generally are able to catch it and would always call you back for verification

Do you have table pads already made to purchase?
Not one table pad manufacturer in the world has ready-to-purchase pads. Pads are custom designed to fit each table and therefore cannot be pre-made. There are thousands of variations as to color and size.

Is it really worth the money to invest in a table pad?
The real question is: How much would it cost to either replace it or refinish it?

Is it true that your pads are constructed differently and considered the best?
Because our table pads are lighter than others, they are easier to handle.  Our pads at Tablepads.com consist of a lightweight, solid fiberboard core that is not affected by humidity and will not warp when standing upright. Mats and tablecloths work ok; why do I need a pad?
Tablecloths only offer minimal protection, primarily from spills.  If you are using this type of minimal protection, they do not protect against heat, liquid damage, and dents. Murphy’s Law: "What can happen, will happen." Absolutely nothing but a top quality table pad can truly protect your beautiful table finish.

When can I expect my pads to arrive after ordering?
Your custom made pads will arrive in approximately 3 to 5 weeks from the time you order. However, if you need your pads sooner, we have rush options and can have your pad produced within 2 business days.

Why is it better to order from Tablepads.com?
Most table pad websites are from resellers or middlemen rather than factories. Some of these resellers are dealers who buy from us and resell to you. We have a major price advantage over them. Our policy is: We will always match or beat any competitor. We could not make this offer if we were not the manufacturer. There is one other major consideration if not purchasing a factory direct table pad: Guarantee / Warranty. Any guarantee or warranty you may get from a dealer (rather than the factory) could be worthless if that dealer is no longer in business. On the other hand, our factory has existed for 30 years. We are not going anywhere!

Do you warranty your pads?
Our warranty is, by far, the most comprehensive in the entire market. On our "Best Pad" we will repair or replace any section (or sections) for life, regardless of whether it is a manufacturing issue, an accident or simply abuse. It doesn't matter. You are only required to show proof of purchase and are responsible for shipping and handling charges.

What are your shipping charges?
We charge a flat fee based on averages, regardless of location (continental US only). The only exception would be for exceptionally large tables (conference size).
$30 is currently our shipping and handling for a table pad and extension leaves in the continental U.S.

How do I measure my table correctly?

• Important: Do not include beveled or sloped edges.
• Measure width of table at center split to nearest 1/16" (flat surface only).
• Measure full length of table from end to end directly down center (flat surface only).
• Important: Make sure extension leaves are removed.
• Never use measurements provided by manufacturer (they always include molding or sloped edges).
• Pattern is necessary unless table has square corners (90 degrees) or is perfectly round.

Do not include extension leaves.

How do I know I’m getting a good quality pad if I’m ordering through the mail or on the internet?
For over 50 years, we have been making our table pads with the same craftsmanship, diligence and care. Many of these pads for tables are still being used today. They are all hand-tailored, have a heavy-duty, washable leatherette top surface, a cushiony velvet or cotton bottom and fold for easy handling and storage. They are all factory-guaranteed for workmanship. We can even send you a mini-sample. Put your mind at ease. We have been advertising in magazines, newspapers and TV for years. Our phone measuring service has proven to be as accurate as if someone came to personally measure for you. We actually created mail order for table pads almost 30 years ago.

What if I can’t make a pattern; do you have a way to do it without one. Do you have someone to come make a pattern for me and is it free?
Most tables fit an identical pattern. Table manufacturers use the same measurements of patterns over and over, so you may not even have to.  Knowing the model number (usually underneath your table) enables us to make your table pad fit perfectly, even without exact measurements or a pattern. We have compiled thousands of these patterns over the years and have indexed them according to the manufacturer and model number.
If we don't have the pattern number on file, we will walk you through the entire process. There's nothing to it. We can tell by the pattern you send us if there's the possibility of a problem.
Please visit the "Free Kit" section of our web site and you'll find a form that will help you determine availability in your area. If we do not have a representative in your area, simply call us and any one of our service reps will gladly walk you through the entire process over the phone. You will be amazed at how easy it is. Most tables, even the big ones, can be measured or patterned in literally a couple of minutes.

Do you have a Return Policy?
There is no resale value on a custom made product of any type!  As in any custom made product, we do not exchange or give refunds.  If you have a problem with the table pad you ordered - such as manufacturing defects, damage, etc., you must contact us within 30 days at 1-800-737-4194. We will be more than happy to assist you with your table pad concerns. This will be done on a case-by-case basis. If we make a mistake or damage occurs during the shipping process, we do, however, guarantee to make it right.
